Customer Liaison & Materials Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven professional to be primarily responsible for managing Customer and Supplier contracts, negotiating sales agreements for by-products / services, managing inventory, researching and troubleshooting issues and providing transactional support with buying and selling activities. This position is located at the Resource Recycling Division in Boss, Missouri. Other local communities are Salem, Cuba, Viburnum, Bixby, Caledonia and Farmington.
Successful candidates are required to have:
A Bachelor's degree combined with some relevant work experience highly preferred (may include internships, customer service, assisting accounting functions, office support in a fast paced environment).
High aptitude and eagerness for learning and strong initiative to go above and beyond.
Excellent and professional communication skills coupled with ability to work well with others.
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Strong attention to detail with proven experience providing high quality output.
Ability to travel locally and nationally as required (<10%).
Willingness to wear a full respirator to work in plant during onboarding period and occasionally as needed.
Other requirements include:
Ability to research issues and resolve problems
MSO proficiency including Intermediate skills using Excel and Outlook
Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
High aptitude for learning
Strong work ethic and integrity
High attention to detail
Contract administration, buying or sales experience is a plus
Understanding of contracts, able to interpret paperwork and pricing materials a plus.
Ability to become knowledgeable of Doe Run physical capabilities, regulatory capabilities and economic requirements very quickly.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage the cable processing business functions including day to day administration of settlements, reports, pricing, billing and contract management.
Provide support functions of administering various purchasing agreements with suppliers and customers as well as reviewing settlement reports.
Responsible for the department's program compliance.
Support functions of administering various purchasing agreements with suppliers and customers as well as reviewing settlement reports.
Schedule receipts of various materials such as CRT's and other lead bearing materials.
Prepare the recycling agreements for CRT's and lead based paint materials.
Review, analyze and reconcile raw material receipts from buy/sell, toll agreements and other commercial transactions.
Independently research and resolve supplier complaints and non-conformances.
Independently prepare weekly and monthly reports for management and departmental use.
Respond to internal & external questions on regarding recycling, material acceptance, regulatory, shipping, payment, billing & misc.
Inventory management to include ordering and managing onsite and in transit inventory.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
