Human Resources Manager

The Doe Run Company is seeking a Human Resources Manager to deliver workforce capability required to meet operational goals. The position reports to the VP, Human Resources and Community Relations. The successful candidate will serve as an active HR business partner to the Vice President, Southeast Missouri Operations (SEMO) and the SEMO Mining and Milling Division management team by providing talent management expertise and participating as a member of the leadership team. This candidate will also champion the organization's HR policies and systems while leading and developing a team of HR professionals. This position will be located at the SEMO Central Office in Viburnum, MO. The position requires travel by automobile to mine sites in Southeast Missouri 3-4 times per week. Responsibilities: Foster positive employee relations: Serve as advisor and coach to managers, supervisors, employees and other HR leaders. Assess needs of organization and leaders and determine what type of training and/or coaching needs to be facilitated to make leaders more effective and get better results from work teams. Serve as subject matter expert on benefits and compensation. Talent Management: Manage division staffing process; working with corporate talent management to facilitate timely salary recruiting and lead the hourly recruiting process. Make recommendations on talent selection. Coordinate annual talent management reviews, succession planning and career maps.             Performance Management: Direct division performance management. Provide GPM training and coaching as needed. Ensure compliance with HR policies on discipline and Performance Improvement Plans. Work with leaders, managers, and supervisors to resolve performance issues. Leadership Team: Serve as part of division leadership team. Provide employee focus and advocacy Rewards and Recognition: Participate in recognizing and rewarding employees such as; employee milestones, service and safety awards and recognition for employee ideas, etc.  Compliance: Manage compliance, regulatory, and governance. Employment law (EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc) subject matter expert. 0ther duties and responsibilities as directed including regulatory compliance, audits, and investigations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Behavior or equivalent experience with four yeardegree. 5 - 10 years progressive human resource experience including 3-5 years of supervisory experience Knowledge of employment laws and regulations (state and federal) HR ECM proficiency data management HRIS systems and HR records PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred Skills and Abilities: Microsoft Office Suite Advanced skills Knowledge of employment laws (e.g. EEO, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, OSHA) Advanced skills Training skills Advanced skills HRIS Systems Advanced skills Communication skills including ability to accurately receive and disperse information to a wide range of stakeholders; Interacting with others in a way that gives them confidence in one's intentions and those of the organization. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
