General Maintenance Manager, Mine & Mill

The Doe Run Company is seeking a General Maintenance Manager to direct all Mine & Mill division maintenance activities and projects. Provide overall technical support of operations (engineers and technicians) in a safe, environmentally compliant, and cost effective manner. This position is located in the heart of Mark Twain National Forest, in Viburnum, MO.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee long range planning and identify what areas need improvement, set up leadership groups to discuss needs and priorities. Assign appropriate people to manage development and progress of projects.
Manage maintenance activities of each operation and project to ensure they are on track and the appropriate people are assigned to each site and inspect work.
Conduct quarterly reviews with key vendors, set agenda, discuss problems, and possible solutions. Bring vendors in to train employees on their equipment, parts, and processes.
Keep track and control maintenance department and project budgets.
Participate in weekly team meetings and provide reports, presentations, speeches, and facilitation as needed.
Conform to standards & compliance. Includes, division, operational, safety & environmental compliance.
Other duties as assigned
Credentials & Experience Needed:
A minimum of 15 years of experience in industrial maintenance or operations maintenance
Prior capital projects experience is required
A minimum of 7 years managerial experience
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering or related field
Valid, current driver's license
The ability to work underground
Strong knowledge of maintenance for both surface and underground equipment
Knowledge of project management best practices
Strong Microsoft Office Suite computer skills
Experience with HRIS and ERP systems, preferably Ultimate, Tableau, Adaptive, I-Series, PeopleSoft
Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
Budget and forecasting experience required
Work Environment:
Frequently required to sit, talk, hear
Occasionally required to feel objects, stand, walk, drive, reach with hands, move up and down
Rarely required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, grasp, push and use repetitive movement
Requires clarity of vision at 20 inches or less
Occasionally required to work underground, in wet, humid conditions (non-weather), outdoor weather, vibration, work near moving parts, work at heights of 4' or more with fall protection
Rarely required to work in confined spaces, extreme cold (non-weather), extreme heat (non-weather), or with fall protection.
Required to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Rarely require to lift up to 100 pounds

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
